Can you easily sit down and stand back up again while wearing it? Is it very bulky to keep on while not in use?

 I have no problems sitting and standing back up while wearing theHip Seat Baby Carrier . I have kept it on at times when not using - any bulkiness is ok for convenience of not putting on/off again (especially because of the great 4-part safety features: velcro, a loop the belt goes through, sturdy buckle and a little sliding lock on the buckle). If it's in the way, I twist it to the side or my back. It's very well designed with great added features and comfortable, high-quality materials & construction.

What is the biggest waist size this can work with?

 I wear a 22/24 in women’s pants. The Velcro closure does not extend around my waist but the strap does and is comfortable even though the padding doesn’t extend far enough.



My baby weight is 25 lbs. Will it hold?

Yes, it is ideal for babies 8 to 45 pounds.

How long can I use this for?

 As long as you feel comfy.

Would this be okay for a pregnant mama to help support the weight of a larger child (18 month old)?

 I don't think so because you have to wrap it tight around your waist.

Can I wear it while carrying a purse and briefcase on my shoulder? 

 As long as you have one free arm to support the baby's back, then I can't see a problem with also carrying a purse.
